We operate an Integrated Management System (IMS) – accredited to ISO 14001:2015, ISO 9001:2015, OHSAS 18001:2007

Health and Safety

It is the policy of Continu to conduct our business activities in a way that will achieve the highest possible standard of health and safety for its employees, visitors and members of the public. The company’s objective is to minimise the number of instances of occupational accidents and illness and ultimately to achieve an accident free workplace.

Continu’s directors regard the successful management of health and safety as equally important as all other business activities. We ensure all our stakeholders from employees to our suppliers and partners uphold our commitment to health and safety through all stages of our customers service journey.

Our Health and Safety management system is certified to OHSAS 18001:2007 and is SafeContractor approved.

Quality

Our approach to quality has been and continues to drive our business growth, its what sets us apart. We work closely with our stakeholders, customers and suppliers to establish the highest quality standards throughout the customer service journey. We adopt a forward-looking view on future business decisions which may have impacts on our ability to provide customers with a quality service, minimise environmental impacts or compromise the safety & welfare of our direct and indirect employees. Environmental

Continu recognises, and is committed to, maintaining the highest quality standards whilst reducing the environmental impacts associated with the provision of its services.
We are committed to the concept of continual improvement and the prevention of pollution and minimization of waste. Environmental issues are viewed as core business values.
The company set and monitor specific improvement objectives to minimise waste and pollution. We operate our environmental management system to assist with the achievement of these overall objectives, certified to ISO 14001:2015 for the benefit of our employees and customers.

Training and Development

A key element of Continu’s growth strategy is investment in people through training and continuous professional development. All staff have an individual training and development and succession plan. We invest in bespoke training programmes for engineers with world leading partners in Europe. This commitment to people provides Continu with the capability to deliver technical expertise to customers in NI and ROI who previously would have imported this service from the other parts of the UK. Continu has a low staff turnover and core belief in developing and nurturing its people, as the backbone of the company. An entrepreneurial ethos is encouraged by the Directors. The business has achieved ‘key supplier’ status with some of the top businesses in NI, ROI and Great Britain specifically due to the technical capability of its people and a consistent level of service quality.
